Why you'll love it

  • Ready in 5 min with no cooking at all
  • Everyday ingredients, most of them already in your pantry
  • Tagged: pmos-friendly, pcos, high-fiber, no-cook, vegetarian
Our best tip: Chia seeds are mostly fiber. Pairing them with yogurt and nuts adds protein and healthy fat.

A note on PMOS (PCOS) and insulin resistance: this recipe follows general balanced-eating ideas (protein, fiber, healthy fat, little added sugar). It isn't medical advice. Your doctor or a registered dietitian can tailor a plan to you, especially if you take blood-sugar medication.

  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup berries
  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Whisk the chia, almond milk, yogurt, cinnamon, vanilla and maple syrup in a jar.
  2. Stir again after 10 minutes so the seeds don't clump, then refrigerate at least 4 hours.
